YOUTH GROUPS
REGISTRATION:
Registration for overnight dates takes place ONLINE ONLY, by deposit, and is on a first come, first served basis.
QUALIFYING AS A YOUTH GROUP
Youth groups are schools, children's clubs, or organized community groups whose participants are youth. A minimum of 20 participants is required to make a booking.
For groups with fewer than 20 participants a minimum final payment of $1,681.60 + HST (minus deposit) is required.
The Toronto Zoo reserves the right to book a second group of similar age and composition on the same overnight. Groups will be notified prior to visit.
All participants are required to sign a Toronto Zoo Bush Camp waiver prior to participation in the program. The parents/legal guardians of the participants must sign waivers on behalf of children. If the waivers are not signed prior to arrival for the program, the individual(s) will not be admitted to Bush Camp.
COSTS
Youth groups are offered a discounted Bush Camp rate. All participants that attend with a youth group are eligible for this price.
All participants in the group including supervisors, teachers, chaperones, adults, parent volunteers and children/youth/students must pay the per person rate in order to participate in the overnight program.
Pre-Registration Site Exclusivity/Minimum Numbers
If you are specifically looking to book the site exclusively for your youth group, you will be obligated to pay a non-refundable deposit of the equivalent of 40 participants at the per person youth group rate at the time of booking. Any participants in excess of 40 would be subject to our regular refund policies for youth groups. Requests for site exclusivity are considered on a first come, first served basis. Bookings are only finalized once payment is received. Pre-bookings may not be offered each year or conditions of pre-booking may change.
