Visit with Santa AND our Caribou herd during this festive and Arctic adventure. On this encounter you will get as up close and personal to the real-life “Rudolph” as it gets. The adventure begins with a guided tour through our Tundra Trek to learn all about the unique Arctic wildlife that inhabit this Zoo region. Then, finish off your tour by visiting our caribou herd in a private area, also known as “Santa’s outdoor Cottage”, beside the caribou paddock where the big guy himself will come out and greet his guests!

Join us as we guide you through our lush African Rainforest Pavilion. You will be taken behind our ring-tailed lemur habitat, home to our lemurs, Aldabra tortoises, and African crowned crane, to watch as our lemurs get some fun enrichment. Next stop is our meerkats, watch them forage for their breakfast as your Wild Encounter guide provides some foraging enrichment. The final stop is Darwin’s dream pond, home to our Malawi cichlids. You will get a special behind the scenes look at this incredible tank and watch from above as your guide tosses them some treats. Learn more about how our keepers care for these animals on a daily basis while you explore this warm, tropical pavilion. Please note: There will be no BTS access at Gorillas.

Join us we guide you through our Malayan Woods Pavilion. This area of the zoo has been closed since March and will only be opened for our special Wild Encounters guests. You will meet our marsh turtles, watch as our giant gourami gets fed, learn about the birds that call this pavilion home, and finally watch one of our clouded leopards receive some fun enrichment.
