Join your Toronto Zoo in celebrating Science Literacy Week 2025, a national initiative showcasing the power of science and its connection to the world around us. This year’s theme is “From Sea to Space” — and we’re bringing it to life with engaging, family-friendly programming all week long!

Meet the Guardian Talks

Learn about climate change, sustainable habitats, and zoo conservation efforts.
Talks on Polar Bears and Amur Tigers — times coming soon!
Interactive Stations

Hands-on learning with biofacts and species survival tips.

Science Pop-Ups

Visit the Wildlife Health & Science Centre on October 11 & 12 from 11:00am–2:00pm to meet our Welfare Science and Field
Conservation teams. Ask questions and discover how science drives our conservation work.
Sea to Space Scavenger Hunt!
Explore the Zoo between October 6–12 to find the special code words at: Polar Bears, Amur Tigers, Gorillas, Orangutans, and Turtles. Enter the code words below for your chance to win a Wild Encounter and other exciting prizes!
