Join the Toronto Zoo’s bat experts for an evening drink on our BATio and experience the night sky as it comes alive. Did you know that seven of the eight bat species that live in Ontario are found right here in our own backyard? Meet the team that is working hard to conserve these species, celebrate all things batty, and support our Native Bat Conservation Program. Limited space is available, be sure to book early!
Program Includes:
- Bat-themed trivia with the chance to win prizes
- Informative presentation on our outdoor BATio under the night sky
- Chance to find wild bats in the Zoo using special "bat detectors"
- Light appetizers included in program fee along with pop/juice, cash bar available
Itinerary
7:30 to 8:00 – Guest arrival (361A Old Finch Avenue)
8:00 – Wildlife Health Gallery visit
8:15 – Escort to patio
8:15 to 8:45 – Drinks & appetizers, trivia
8:45 to 9:15 – Self-guided walk in tundra with bat detectors
9:15 to 10:00 – Presentation, followed by questions
10:00 – Program ends
COST: $40 Member/ $45 Non-Member
