Capture unforgettable soccer memories with interactive photo opportunities located throughout the Zoo, including giant soccer ball installations, themed photo ops, and the official FIFA sign.
“Goal” Keeper Talks & Animal Enrichment
Follow along with special Meet the Guardians talks throughout June and learn more about incredible animals from around the world, the care they receive, and the conservation work happening at your Toronto Zoo. Select experiences may also include soccer-inspired enrichment opportunities that encourage natural behaviours, exploration, and animal choice.

In celebration of the global excitement around soccer this summer, your Toronto Zoo is collecting used soccer balls for recycling through TerraCycle to help reduce waste and support a cleaner future for wildlife and our planet.
Together, we can:
- Keep sports equipment out of landfill
- Support waste reduction and recycling🌎
- Recover materials through circular economy programs♻️
- Help protect wildlife and natural habitats
No matter the condition - deflated, torn, or heavily used - every soccer ball can help make a difference.
Bring your old soccer balls to the Front Entrance recycling bin and help your Toronto Zoo score a goal for sustainability.
