The days get shorter and cool as the fall comes around.
Creatures can fly up away or head down underground,
But with the winter so near they must take time to prepare,
By fattening up, storing food, or growing thick hair.
Leaping Lemurs

The furry lemurs are so unique,
The sifakas leap and the indris shriek.
Some live in groups, some live alone,
But each one makes Madagascar their home.
Rainforest Guardians
Wednesday, November 25 -
Sunday, November 29
The rainforest is the orangutan's home,
Where through the trees they swing and roam.
Our resident apes now have a new habitat,
So come see if you can be a rainforest acrobat.
Adults will take part in this interactive learning experience, helping their child make discoveries about the animal world through a variety of themed educational play stations.
Price: $12 (includes Parent & Tot program entry for one adult and one child)
Note: children must attend the program with an adult. Recommended for pre-school aged children (18 months to 4 years) with a parent
**Cost of program does not include parking fee or price of admission to the Zoo (sold separately).
