Join the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy for an Earth Day celebration! Step into our interactive photo booth and cast your vote! We want to know which of the Toronto Zoo’s areas of focus you think will make the greatest impact on protecting our plant - Community & Education, Conservation Science, or Animal Well-being. Plus, you’ll have a chance to win a wild prize!

While you’re there, take part in a meaningful initiative by donating your old devices to the Zoo’s Phone Apes program. Many of the materials used in cell phones, such as coltan, are sourced from the forests of the Congo—home to Endangered lowland gorillas. Recycling your devices helps reduce the need for mining in these critical habitats, directly supporting wildlife conservation.
