Join your Toronto Zoo and Parks Canada as we recognize the 12th Blanding’s turtle release! Zoo guests are encouraged to stop by the Canadian Wetlands from 11:00am to 3:00pm daily to learn directly from the Guardians of Blanding’s Turtles through educational tables, activities, and interactive experiences!

Your Toronto Zoo and Parks Canada have a long-standing partnership that supports Blanding’s turtles in the Rouge National Urban Park (RNUP), and now is your opportunity to learn first-hand how this partnership has released 700+ Blanding’s turtles back into their natural habitat – a habitat that had as few as 10 Blanding’s turtles remaining!
