Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day on May 10th with an early morning guided bird walk at your Toronto Zoo. Led by our knowledgeable guides, Jon Spero and Nigel Parr, the walk will run from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Meet your guides at the front gate for exclusive access and tour through the core woods—perfect for spotting songbirds—and along the Eurasia loop, known for its waterfowl.

Learn about bird conservation as we discuss this year’s theme: Creating Bird-friendly Cities & Communities. Proceeds from the tour will go to the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ North American Songbirds SAFE program, which supports local songbird conservation initiatives. Binoculars will be provided, so just bring your enthusiasm for birdwatching!

Please note: Tour participants will not be charged for parking if they exit the parking lots prior to 9:30 am. Tour fee does not include parking or admission to the Zoo for the day. Participants will exit the Zoo prior to opening and may purchase admission to re-enter the Zoo for the day. No member discount is applicable for this program.
