UPON ARRIVAL

Drop off and pick up takes place at the Administrative/Support Centre Parking Area. Please arrive at the Parking Area by 4:15 pm to meet your Bush Camp Guides and check-in. At approximately 10:00 am the Guides will bring the group back to the parking area for drop off. When you arrive at the Zoo, your Bush Camp Guides will meet you at the designated area. They will introduce themselves and verify your registration by name and group name. Please stay aware of traffic in the parking area and remain on the sidewalks at all times.

CAMP HOURS

Bush Camp runs from 4:30 pm to 10:00 am the next morning.

EXTEND YOUR VISIT

As the Bush Camp program focuses on the African areas of the Zoo, we invite you to enjoy a complimentary visit to the rest of the Zoo by arriving early on the DAY OF your overnight or DAY AFTER, the following morning after the Bush Camp program ends.

Note: This offer is for Bush Camp participants only, is not transferable, and has no cash value. Offer is only valid for admission. Parking during extended visits will be subject to the Zoo's regular parking fees. Visit is subject to the Zoo's regular operating hours. Photo ID may be requested at time of offer redemption.

If you choose to visit the Zoo the day of/after your overnight, gear may be able to be stored in our secure storage space should you not have a personal vehicle or bus available. Please book at least 10 days prior to your stay via email at [email protected].

VISITING THE ZOO THE DAY OF YOUR OVERNIGHT PRIOR TO START OF BUSH CAMP PROGRAM:

Groups
If you are visiting the Zoo the day of your overnight prior to the start of the Bush Camp program, please arrange for your group to be dropped off and/or parked at the Main Entrance of the Zoo and check in at Guest Relations.

You are free to enjoy the Zoo for the day until 4:15 pm at which point you must return to the Education Centre to meet your Bush Camp Guides. Please indicate to your Guides where your group will be picked up the next morning (either Passenger Drop-Off Loop or Administrative/Support Centre Parking Area). They will then make the appropriate arrangements for transport.

Families
If you have chosen to visit the Zoo the day of your overnight, prior to the start of the Bush Camp program, please arrange for your group to be dropped off and/or parked at the Main Entrance of the Zoo and check in at Guest Relations.

You are free to enjoy the Zoo for the day. Arrival and departure for the overnight program takes place at our Administrative/Support Centre (361A Old Finch Avenue) at 4:15 pm. All participants, along with their vehicle, must meet at this location by the pick-up time, in order to stay for the overnight.

VISITING THE ZOO THE DAY AFTER YOUR OVERNIGHT FOLLOWING THE COMPLETION OF THE BUSH CAMP PROGRAM:

Groups
If you have chosen to visit the Zoo the day after your overnight Bush Camp experience, please confirm this with your Bush Camp Guides. They will make arrangements to have your group dropped off either at the Parking Area where you will retrieve your vehicle and drive to the front gate to re-gain admission or at the Education Centre where you can store your group's belongings and then enjoy the Zoo.

If you will be storing your overnight gear at the Education Centre it is important to inform your driver to pick up the group at the Passenger Drop-Off Loop no later than 4:15 pm (time at which the Education Centre is closed).

Families
If you have chosen to visit the Zoo the day after your overnight Bush Camp experience, all participants and their vehicles must exit the Administrative/Support Centre parking lot and drive to the Main Parking Lot of the Zoo.
Please check in at Guest Relations and enjoy the Zoo for the day.

EARLY DEPARTURES OR LATE ARRIVALS

Due to the nature of the program, early departures or late arrivals cannot be accommodated. In the event that you encounter unforeseen delays on your way to Bush Camp (eg. traffic jam), please call the following telephone numbers to notify us:

The designated starting point for all late arrivals for the overnight will be at 361A Old Finch Avenue at the Administrative/Support Centre. Please check in with Security who will then connect you with your group.

ADMINISTRATIVE/SUPPORT CENTRE PARKING AREA

The Administrative/Support Centre Parking Area is the parking pick up and drop off location for Bush Camp. If travelling by coach/school bus and the bus is to remain overnight, it is best to park the bus in the upper tier parking area length wise across the parking spaces so as to not block traffic. Health & Safety staff can advise on the best options if needed.

Directions to Administrative/Support Centre Parking Area (from the South)

• Follow Meadowvale Road north, passing the Main Entrance of the Zoo to Old Finch Ave.
• Turn LEFT (west) at the stop sign onto Old Finch Ave.
• Turn LEFT (south) into the Administrative/Support Centre Parking Area
