Campers will have the opportunity to have an interactive discussion and ask their questions directly to the keepers. Campers will also participate in at least one unique guided nature activity, such as a pond exploration, bird watching, or insect scavenger hunt. These opportunities are specially selected based on age group and weekly camp theme.

Every Wednesday, Zoo Camp offers a fun theme day where children are encouraged to dress up and/or put on additional accessories for the day. Examples of past "Wacky Wednesday" include: crazy hair, funny hat, accessories, Halloween costume, funny shorts, etc. Details about Wacky Wednesday will be given out on the first day of camp of each week.
