TORONTO, ON, Wednesday, February 7, 2024: Your Toronto Zoo is thrilled to be awarded the Canoo Partner of the Year Award by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC). This is the inaugural launch of the ICC’s Canoo Awards, which recognize the work Canoo’s partners are doing for newcomers across Canada. The awards celebrate the Canadian culture and nature institutions that set a new standard in helping newcomers feel at home in Canada.
The Partner of the Year award recognizes the Canoo partner attraction that welcomed the most newcomers in 2023: the stand-out favourite among Canoo members. Last year your Toronto Zoo saw 49,000 Canoo members visit our site and we hope to see this number continue to grow in future.
