Canada Day Weekend at the Toronto Zoo! 

What better place to celebrate Canada than at Canada’s premier zoo!
We’re open all weekend and there is lots to explore.
Saturday, June 30th to Monday, July 2, 2018


The NEW Wild Rouge Zipline and Canopy Tour!
Get adventurous this Canada Day Weekend and try the Toronto Zoo’s newest wild adventure. Situated within the scenic Rouge Valley this ecologically themed zipline transports guests down a 300m parallel cable line at speeds exceeding 40 kms/hr which concludes with a thrilling zip drop off of the landing platform. Upon completion of the adventure, guests will be transported by an ATV vehicle back up to the Indo-Malayan Pavilion. Open daily from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. For full details visit

Parks Canada Stations:
Check out the four Parks Canada stations for interactive and educational activities surrounding Canadian wilderness, heritage, biodiversity, and culture, PLUS discover more about some of the Canadian species the Zoo and Parks Canada are working hard to help protect! Drop by the Parks Canada Front Courtyard Kiosk to pick up your Parks Canada Xplorers Booklet and begin your on-site adventure!

Monday, July 2, 2018: Monday Character Meet and Greets
This week’s theme is Rescuing Species with Paw Patrol’s Marshall & Rubble from 10am to 2pm at the front entrance courtyard stage. It’s all part of the zoo’s new Wild Weekday events schedule which also includes evening movie nights, plush animal hospital, paint nite and yoga. Wild Weekdays runs from Monday, July 2, 2018 to Friday, August 31, 2018. For full details visit
