American Toad sitting in the mud

The Spring Toad Festival is coming back to Your Toronto Zoo Saturday, May 4th, 10am-3pm!

Celebrate the arrival of spring by experiencing the sights and sounds of male toads in search of that special someone! This annual wetland festival is scheduled around the explosive breeding rituals of American toads at our very own Canadian Wetlands habitat! Although the emergence and courtship of toads is the main event, there are heaps of other fun amphibian activities across the Zoo for children and adults alike!

Join the Adopt-A-Pond Wetland Conservation team for Toad Talks, salamander and froggy games, to learn how to become a “FrogWatcher”, and more! It’s “toad-ally” fun for the whole family!
