To celebrate the first birthday of the giant panda cubs, the Toronto Zoo is offering our valued Members a rare behind the scenes opportunity to learn more about our work with the giant panda conservation program. This unique session is only for a fee of $10.00 per member (children 2 and under are free). All proceeds go to the Giant Panda Conservation Fund.
Each session will be fifteen minutes and will consist of the following:
- Meet a giant panda keeper and learn more about their critical role caring for giant pandas and raising giant panda cubs
- Peek inside the bamboo cooler
- Step into the Giant Panda House to see where the twin panda cubs were raised
The sessions will be held every weekend in November and will start at 10:00am with the last session ending at 3:00pm.
Pre-registration and payment is required in advance and space is limited for each session.
Please note that each participant will be required to walk across a sponge foot bath prior to stepping into the Panda House and portions of the session are outside so please dress accordingly. Session takes place rain or shine and registration is non-refundable. Session is scheduled to change without notice.
Please note this is a member exclusive event.
