Youth Badge Programs

Calling all Guides, Brownies, Sparks, Scouts, Cubs and Leaders!!

Take a walk on the WILD side and join us at the Toronto Zoo to learn more about fascinating wildlife through programs specifically designed to cover various badge requirements.

Day Programs
2 ½ hour program featuring exciting activities, biofacts, and themed animal tour. Day Programs can occur between September and May on Saturdays or Sundays.


Leaders, are you looking for a location for your group to have an overnight experience?
The Toronto Zoo offers two safe and exciting overnight programs to choose from for groups of all ages. Our overnight programs can meet many of the requirements of your camping badges or similar awards while offering a fun and unique opportunity to see the Zoo "after hours".
Our overnight programs can accommodate groups and include accommodations, certain meals, and the ability to remain at the Zoo to enjoy anything you may have missed during your overnight experience.

Pyjama Party Overnight Program
An indoor overnight program which includes a guided tour of the Tundra Trek and Eurasia Wilds, a bedtime snack with fun activities, and breakfast the next morning. This program has a maximum capacity of 30 participants and is open weekends during the fall and spring.


Serengeti Bush Camp Overnight Program
An outdoor overnight program complete with campfire and tents which takes place in the African Savanna area of the Zoo. Dinner, breakfast, and behind-the-scenes visits to select animals are included in the program. This program has a maximum capacity of 60 participants and is open mid-May until the end of August.
