This species is in danger of extinction with as few as 7,000 remaining in the wild on the Island of Sumatra. Here's how you can help and learn more:
- Watch a video featuring Zoo Keepers training orangutans
- Check out great orangutan artefacts like skulls, hair, even bedding
- Enjoy orangutan artwork
- Buy a print of an orangutan's hand - all proceeds go to support the Sumatran Orangutan Society
- Meet the Orangutan Keeper daily at 1:00 pm to learn more about these incredible primates
