YOUR TORONTO ZOO COVID-19 OPERATIONS UPDATE

COVID-19 UPDATE: INDOOR PAVILIONS ARE RE-OPENING AS OF SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2020

TORONTO, ON, Friday, October 9, 2020: Given the increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases in the City of Toronto and throughout the Greater Toronto Area, your Toronto Zoo has made the decision to adjust some operations in an ongoing commitment to ensuring the highest health and safety of our guests, staff, volunteers and animals.

The Toronto Zoo remains OPEN but changes to operations will be as follows:

  • Boomobile – NOT OPERATING THIS WEEKEND
  • Rides (Tundra Air and Carousel) – NOT OPERATING UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
  • Removal of Drums for Lumina – INTERACTIVE COMPONENT TO CLOSE BEGINNING TONIGHT
  • Restaurant operations – INDOOR SEATING CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

All outdoor viewing areas of the Toronto Zoo will remain open as will the indoor pavilions, retail store and Membership Office. Additional safety measures have proactively been added to our indoor pavilions to open safely including additional path markings to ensure distancing, enhanced signage, and additional ushers to monitor traffic flow, and restaurants will be open for takeout only.

Reminder that in accordance with Provincial regulations masks are mandatory in all buildings that remain open to our guests.
