What: | Happy New Year! In the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of the Monkey begins on Thursday, January 22nd, 2004. This has inspired the Toronto Zoo's Monkeys, Apes, Macaques, Gorillas, and Orangutans to invite everyone out to the Zoo for a mutual New Year's celebration - and a swinging good time!
According to Chinese tradition, monkeys are viewed as inventors, improvisors, and motivators. Usher in your New Year's festivities by hanging out with our monkeys - and see if you can spot the above qualities in them! |
