The Toronto Zoo's 9th Annual International Migratory Bird Day

This year's theme is Tundra to Tropics: Connecting Birds, Habitats, and People. One and two hour guided bird watching tours of the Rouge Valley and around the Zoo site will be conducted on the hour from 8 am to 3 pm. Tours are $5.00 per person. Registration 8:30am to 12:00pm Event Activities run until 2:00pm
Collect a minimum of $25 in pledges per participant, and receive entrance to the Toronto Zoo, a map, walk activities, a FREE lunch, a loot bag for the children*, and a special performance by our guest Franklin the Turtle at 10:00am at the Waterside Theatre. ($8 parking fee not included.)
Exclusive to Toronto Zoo members only: sign up online (selecting Toronto Zoo Membership) and raise a minimum of $20 per person and you will also receive a FREE Great StridesTM T-shirt at the event**. (Subject to active membership verification at time of Walk).

The 5th Annual Toronto Zoo's Wild Toy Animal Hospital

Africa Picnic Site 10:00am to 2:00pm (last visit with the Dr. 1:30pm) Children 12 and under bring your favourite stuffed animal toy (one toy per child) to the Toronto Zoo's Wild Toy Animal Hospital Event! Each toy receives their very own examination, x-ray, vaccination shot (we promise it won't hurt!) and bandaging and surgery (if required) by the Toronto Zoo's Veterinary Staff. No live animals please!

The Toronto Zoo invites veterans and the general public to join in remembering and honouring the many wartime sacrifices that Canadians have made for their country. Veterans wishing to take part in the service are asked to assemble at the Zoo's Main Entrance by 10:45 a.m. Admission for veterans and their guests is FREE from 9:30am to 11:00am.

Please note this is a ticketed event, prices applicable to all members, space is limited and we can not guarantee tickets will be available night of event.
