Our adorable Indian rhino calf needs a name, and we need your help! Three of our Wildlife Care Indian Rhino Keepers have each chosen a potential name for the calf… but they just couldn’t all agree on one name! So we need you to help decide which is the BEST name for our rhino calf.

CELEBRATE MOTHER'S DAY AT THE ZOO!

Sunday, May 8, 2016

Celebrate mom’s special day with a trip to the Toronto Zoo on Mother’s Day! Bring your mom to learn about some of our wild and wonderful zoo moms! Guests will have the opportunity to learn, directly from our Toronto Zoo expert, Maria Franke, Curator of Mammals, about motherhood within the animal kingdom and their babies.

The event includes light refreshments including tea, coffee, sweets and fruit and all the ladies are eligible to win prizes, including a jar of delicious Mary Macleod's Handmade All-Butter Shortbread and a $100 gift certificate to the Oshawa Centre.

Each session includes a 40 minute educational and fun Mother’s Day presentation focusing on the Toronto Zoo’s newest zoo babies followed by a Q & A.

Afterwards, you'll also be able to visit the Mom's around the Zoo so don't forget to drop by and visit Aurora, our polar bear, Ashakiran our Indian rhino, white lion Makali, and Er Shun our giant panda, and more!

Tickets to this event are $12.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members and include taxes.
