2nd Annual Move Your Paws For
The Polar Bear Cause

Join the cause and move YOUR paws to help one of the world's most vulnerable species! Support of our polar bear family, including Humphrey our adorable one year old cub!

Open to all runners, walkers and fitness folk of all ages and abilities. Bundle up and bring the whole family for a day of outdoor fun, fitness and fundraising. All proceeds raised from the event go towards Polar Bear Conservation! Support the Toronto Zoo and polar bears and invite your friends, family and colleagues to pledge a participant. January Enrichment Extravaganza

We are kicking off the 2015 Enrichment Extravaganza with our very cool Hornbill "Jonah" in our very warm Indo-Malaya Pavilion!

Come out every Saturday in January at 1:30pm to watch our awesome Concave Casqued Hornbill "Jonah" get some special enrichment and meet his keepers too!

The Toronto Zoo is open 364 days a year and is the destination for winter adventure! With our interactive map, planning your winter escape has never been easier. Scroll over each animal exhibit and pavilion to plan your trip today. The Toronto Zoo has so much to offer, even in the cold, including six warm tropical pavilions full of exotic animals at every turn, daily keeper talks and 10 km of scenic winter trails.

World Wetlands Day

While polar bears are enjoying the winter weather, ever wondered where wetland creatures go when it gets cold outside? Come celebrate the amazing world of wetland wildlife underneath the ice, and join in some conservation fun with the Adopt-A-Pond Programme on World Wetlands Day! Experience heaps of activities for kids and kids at heart, including games like Fish for a Prize, Find the Tail on the Turtle, and Frog Call Challenge! Join our volunteers and Toady the Mascot for a touch-table experience with amazing wetland wonders, frog-tastic puzzles, and lessons on how to become a Turtle Tallyer, Frog Watcher or Wetland Guardian. So You Think You Can Romance

6:15pm - 9:00pm

Join us for a delicious evening of food and fun as we learn the fine art of romance as observed in the animal kingdom. Together we will discover the elaborate, awkward, and sometimes hilarious lengths to which animals will go to attract a mate.
Our Valentine's Program includes a romantically inspired dinner, special animal encounter, an interactive group presentation, and a glimpse of the future Reproductive Labs led by our Reproductive Specialist Team!

COST (per adult):

$70 per Member ($130 per Member couple)
$80 per Non-member ($150 per Non-member couple)

Looking for some family adventure this Family Day Weekend? Why not head over to the Toronto Zoo and visit with some of our family including polar bear Mom Aurora and her cub Humphrey, western lowland gorilla Dad Charles and his newest addition Nneka, Mstari and her mom Twiga in the new indoor giraffe viewing house and more! Family fun activities, including special valentine crafts on the Saturday, will take place from 10am to 3pm in the Conservation Connection Centre. The winter is a beautiful time to visit the Toronto Zoo with its scenic walking trails, indoor pavilions, keeper talks, animal encounters and over 5,000 animals that amaze and delight.
