The Toronto Zoo Celebrated One Year Since The Giant Arrival
It's hard to believe yesterday marked the one year anniversary of Er Shun and Da Mao the charismatic giant panda duo, landing on Canadian soil after an 18 hour flight from Chengdu China. Since March 25, 2013 the giant pandas have won the hearts of not only Canadians, but people around the world. From their epic arrival, the true start of the "panda"monium, to making appearances on Canada's "Amazing Race", being featured in the "Rick Mercer Report", welcoming over 1.4 million people and of course their popularity as YouTube sensations with Da Mao's snow tumbling video
, reaching over 5 million views worldwide!
Help Er Shun and Da Mao celebrate their one year "panda"versary by visiting the Toronto Zoo this weekend!
