Ceremony begins promptly at 10:55 am
Veterans and the general public are invited to join in remembering and honouring the many wartime sacrifices that Canadians have made for their country. Admission for veterans and all guests attending the ceremony is free from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
The year round parking fee will be in effect except for VIP's, Veterans in uniform or with medals, crests or other military affiliation insignia, as well as any other persons in uniform, including serving members of the armed forces, police, fire, ambulance and TTC.

The Toronto Zoo is a champion for Canada's majestic polar bears listed as a critically endangered species. The Zoo has a close partnership with Polar Bears International (PBI), with Zoo biologists and researchers working closely with their Wildlife biologist counterparts in the field to provide valuable learning and studies that can be applied to polar bear conservation in the wild. The Toronto Zoo is the place to be on Boxing Day! Join us for Boxing Day to see what delightful seasonal treats await the Zoo's animals. Don't forget to stop by and visit Er Shun & Da Mao - it is their first boxing day in Canada! Please bring a non-perishable item for the food bank. Half price admission for everyone all day. Recognizing the Canadian Forces
All Military members will enjoy FREE Admission to the Toronto Zoo through November 30th 2013. Super savings for Veterans and Military families too!
Canadian Military members must show a valid Canadian Military ID card to gain FREE admission into the Toronto Zoo until November 30, 2013. Up to four dependent family members may accompany Military personnel to receive half price admission to the Toronto Zoo. Retired Canadian Military members must show retired Military ID/Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) card to receive half price admission for themselves and their families (up to 4). All the above offers expire November 30, 2013 and cannot be combined with any other offer.
