Extended Hours for March Break: 9:30am to 6:00pm, daily, (last admission at 5:00pm)

When making plans this March Break don't forget to visit the world famous Toronto Zoo!! You are sure to have a WILD time with some animal friends including our magnificent polar bears, African white lions, Western lowland gorillas, Arctic wolves and more. Looking for some warmth? Stop by one of our five tropical pavilions, bursting with animals, plants and sea life. Grab a hot chocolate and take in one of our educational and fun daily Keeper Talks and drop by and chat with some of our knowledgeable Volunteers stationed throughout the Zoo.

To help celebrate March Break the Zoo is offering our visitors a daily promotional offer (click here for details)! Plus the Zoo will have extended hours from 9:30am to 6:00pm (last admission 5:00pm).

Climate change is the simple biggest threat facing polar bears, by reducing our carbon emissions to protect the sea ice polar bears depend on for survival. Toronto Zoo will be turning off all non-essential lights to support polar bear conservation!


Zoo Camp 2013 registration is now open! With the arrival of the giant panda's, this summer is the perfect time to connect with nature at Zoo Camp, a unique opportunity to explore wildlife from around the world. A variety of themes are offered, unique to the zoo setting, including baby animals, careers with wildlife and more!

Interact with and inspire visitors with fun, educational activities at the Zoo's new Giant Panda Exhibit and throughout the Zoo site, and assist at special events.

Together we can raise $20,000 for Conservation of Endangered Species!

The Toronto Zoo is a participant in Nature's Bounty $50,000 Giveaway and we need your help! The grand prize of $20,000 will go towards our conservation efforts for precious animals

including the rare White Lions, Sumatran orangutan, Red panda, and so many more.

The Toronto Zoo is open year round (except Dec. 25th).
