What's new at the Zoo... Weekly feature White Lions Return - A Rare Breed Indeed! We are very excited to welcome the return of white lions to our collection! This is a permanent addition to the African Savanna site and these adorable three cubs (which will be on exhibit in a variety of combinations), all under one year old, are unique to the Timbavati region of South Africa. These rare and beautiful cats have not been seen in the wild in over 15 years so don't miss your chance to see them at the Toronto Zoo! "Hot Toys of Summer" Media Preview The Canadian Toy Association (CTA) knows that summer is here and is ready to help parents think about ways to keep their children active and occupied for the summer. Toys and games are the answer - for outdoor and indoor play! More than 120 toys, activities and games (from 50 toy companies) will be available for the media to play with; get demonstrated by dozens of kids and/or toy company rep's; and photograph.
