Description:
Disco ball placed on the outside of the enclosure so as to catch and create subtle, random, moving spots of light projected throughout the enclosure
Can promote exposure to novel stimuli, curiosity, chasing, stalking, etc.
Materials:
Commercially available disco balls can be purchased in various sizes
Can also be constructed with 1"x1" craft mirrored mosaic tiles that are glued on a Styrofoam ball, plastic tumbler, etc.

Mirrors should be secure to prevent falling into animal exhibit
Should also monitor stress and flight responses
Comments:
This is especially popular with penguins who are notorious for chasing projected spots of light
