Animals Off Display

In the event of inclement weather, some animals may be off display or given access to their inside holdings. Please check our Interactive Winter Map to plan your Winter Zoo visit.

Other animals may also be temporarily off exhibit due to routine medical check up or brief exhibit maintenance. For a complete list, please contact Guest Services at (416) 392-5929.

Please note, on Wednesday, 2018-03-28 a portion of the Americas Pavilion will be closed for a special event taking place from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. The Americas Pavilion aviary and primate wing will remain open during that time period and the full Americas Pavilion will reopen as of 12:00 pm.

Toronto Zoo is Canada's premier zoo with over 5,000 animals representing 460+ species. Family fun is available all year round with walking trails, keeper talks and 6 indoor pavilions.
