Saaaaaay hello to the Toronto Zoo's endangered African penguins! NOW OPEN in the African Savanna.



Come see us!


Come to the Toronto Zoo and see the ocean birds that are built to SWIM, DIVE and FLY through the sea! See them play in their new home, a 6,000 square foot permanent exhibit area which includes an underwater viewing area, allowing you to come face to face with all twelve little personalities!

Discover new facts about our new endangered African penguins through daily keeper talks (2pm daily), educational interpretative stations and by watching them interact, socialize and play! Click here to see our African Penguin fact sheet
