What else can I do? If you see a turtle crossing the road stop to help! Turtles are too slow to avoid fast moving traffic. You can save a turtles life by stopping and helping the turtle across the road in the direction it is facing. Remember to always think of your safety first. Follow road safety regulations when stopping and look both ways before crossing. For ideas on how to help a large snapping turtle cross the road please watch the video (video coming soon).
