Orangutan Awareness Weekend




IndoMalaya Pavilion 9:00am to 6:30pm
Toronto Zoo is committed to conservation efforts for the extremely endangered Sumatran orangutans. Orangutan enrichment touch table, artefacts, and see paintings done by our talented orangutans. Enter to win great prizes!
Visitors can Meet the Orangutan Keeper at 1:00 pm daily.

Toronto Zoo invites all seniors 65+ to come to the Zoo and receive FREE admission and a FREE Zoomobile ride all day pass.

23rd Annual Remembrance Day Ceremonies.




Waterside Theatre
Ceremony begins promptly at 10:55am.

The Toronto Zoo invites veterans and the general public to join in remembering and honouring the many wartime sacrifices that Canadians have made for their country. Admission for guests attending the ceremony is FREE from 9:30am to 11:00am.


Friday December 26th (one day only)
The Toronto Zoo's 33rd Annual Christmas Treats Walk.




Front Entrance 10:00am
Don’t miss this much loved annual event where Siberian Tigers and Reindeer and other animals receive their seasonal goodies. Strolling Carollers, FREE Hot Chocolate following the walk (while quantities last). Please bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank.
Half Price Admission for EVERYONE all day! Admission proceeds on this day go to support the Endangered Species Fund. AND Please note this is an outdoor event. Happy Holidays!


Wednesday December 31st
6th Annual New Year’s Eve Family Countdown




Front Entrance, Indo Malaya and Africa
Rainforest Pavilion 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Join some true party animals this New Year’s Eve at the Toronto Zoo! This family-fun event starts 2009 off right with lots of great music, entertainment, animal visitors and more. The fun begins at 6pm and runs until 9pm when we have our very own Kid's Countdown.
