Carousels are timeless, with links back to the 12th century and the Crusades and the pageantry of the Medieval times. Their golden age was reached in America in the early 1900's. Today you can again experience this nostalgic link to other times and places at the Toronto Zoo. What's truly unique and memorable about the Toronto Zoo's carousel is that education and conservation messages about endangered species will inspire you as you whirl around on this magical ride.

Located in the Main Entrance Courtyard Weight restrictions apply Cost PER RIDE is $4 or 3 Rides for $10         Weather permitting Tickets available at any Point of Sale Location.

Daily 9:00am - 6:00pm. Purchase at the Main Entrance.

Pony Rides:

11:00am - 5:00pm Weekends Only Located at the exit of the Kids Zoo Weight restrictions apply Cost PER RIDE $5         Weather permitting Tickets available at any Point of Sale Location and at Ride.

Main Station located in the Front Entrance Courtyard Ride all Day Ticket $8 (4 years and older) Weather permitting Tickets available at any Point of Sale Location. The rider may ride all day (must present wristband) and can board or depart from the stations as noted below. Stations: Main Station: (All riders must exit from this location) Domain Hill: (Canadian Domain Store) Africa: (Twiga Duka Gift Shop, by giraffes) Americas: (The General Store, by Tundra Trek) Eurasia: (No wristbands sold at this location)
