World Lion Weekend

Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11, 2019
Lion House, African Savanna
11:00am to 3:00pm
Free with admission

World Lion Weekend is a global celebration for people to come together to pay tribute to the mighty lion while fulfilling a mission to do our part to save and protect these iconic species.
Join us at the lion house to celebrate World Lion Day!  We will be opening the doors to our lion house both days, Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11, from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm to raise awareness and promote lion conservation.  For a small donation come tour the house, meet the lion keepers and learn how they care for our pride of lions. Visitors can check out lion artifacts and merchandise and bid on prizes in our silent auction. 100% of the money raised will go directly to Ewaso lions—a conservation organization in Northern Kenya that works with local communities to promote co-existence between people and wildlife.

*Please note all events subject to change without notice.
