Interpretive Touch Tables


Visit our various interpretive touch tables located throughout the Zoo and meet our knowledgeable Toronto Zoo Volunteers. Students will not only learn more about the animals that live in the Zoo, but will also have the opportunity to touch furs, skulls, feathers, and much more.

Meet-the-Keeper Talks


Be sure to attend one or more of our educational meet-the-keeper talks or feedings during your visit. These are a great opportunity for students to have all their fascinating questions answered.

LUNCH
Animals or people, we make sure everyone is fed at the Toronto Zoo. Visit one of our restaurants or snack bars on site for a bite to eat or bring your own lunch. Picnic tables are available at various locations throughout the Zoo (refer to Zoo map).

Rent a Private Picnic Site*


If you are interested in a private space just for your students, the Zoo is pleased to offer school groups a 50% discount off picnic site rentals during the school year*. For more information about the available picnic sites, what a picnic site rental includes, and how to book a private picnic site for your group, please visit Host Your Event or contact Toronto Zoo - Group Events at groupevents@torontozoo.ca or 416-392-5940.

Amazing Animal Show - FREE


Join us at our outdoor Waterside Theatre for the Amazing Animal Show. Your students will watch in awe as giant birds fly overhead and our animals interact with both the audience and their wildlife care trainers. A great way to end your visit!

TundraAir Ride - $12 per ride or $40 for 4 tickets


Soaring through the air at 48 km/hr, TundraAir Ride is a zipline ride that seats 1 or 2 people at a time and takes your students to new heights. This ride is one you will want to experience over and over, as it gives you a different view from the top every time, with a beautiful panoramic view of the Zoo. Guests must be a minimum of 42" to ride with an adult and a minimum of 48" to ride alone.

Zoomobile Ride - Students ride all day for $6


Hop aboard the Zoomobile for an adventure around the Zoo while sitting back and relaxing. Our newly renovated route takes you directly through some of the Eurasian exhibits, allowing you to come face-to-face with mouflon, Przewalski's horses, and yaks.
