Have you ever wondered what it takes to run a conservation-based zoological facility? This presentation allows students to discover the critical role that the Toronto Zoo plays in ensuring the ongoing survival of many of the world’s most vulnerable species and their habitats. While learning about several of the Toronto Zoo’s conservation projects, students will develop a deeper understanding of the science behind managing endangered wildlife populations through reproductive programs and the Species Survival Plan.
