Parent and Tot Programs (Ages 2-4 with an adult)

Parent and Tot is a program developed to provide children with an opportunity to explore the animal world and develop / enhance their social, cognitive, communication, and motor skills through a variety of activities, songs, games, stories, and touchables. To provide children with an optimal learning experience, this program also involves a certain amount of parent and child interaction to “guide” their child’s learning by communicating ideas presented in terms that will stimulate their individual interests and focus their attention on the task at hand. A highlight of this program will be the “close encounters” with at least one live creature. This program occurs either entirely indoors (Parent and Tot) or entirely outdoors (Critter Cruisers). An optional small snack is provided.
