Black-footed ferret Teacher Activity Guide
The lessons and activities below have been designed to teach elementary school students about ecosystems and ecological relationships using an endangered Canadian species, the black-footed ferret, as the focal point.
In addition to describing the physical features, behaviour and ecology of black-footed ferrets, the curriculum also includes topics such as biodiversity, extinction, adaptations, habitats, wildlife communities and the food chain.
