Help us find out more about animal-road interactions in Ontario. If you see an animal on or near a road while driving, record the location, the animal species, and the status (i.e. dead or alive) of the animal. Take a picture if you can! We will use these data to get a better understanding of the interactions between animals and roads, and to help identify 'hotspots' where animals frequently get hit by cars. This information can then be used by scientists and policy makers to identify areas where mitigation methods are needed, such as ecopassages and wildlife crossing signs.
