CONSERVATION AT THE ZOO
The Toronto Zoo is Canada's premier Zoo, known for its interactive education and conservation activities. As a unique wildlife experience, we inspire people to live in ways that promote the well being of the natural world.
Not surprisingly, we are a collection of plant and animal lovers!

So we do everything in our power to preserve and propagate species at risk of extinction, and to protect those that still have healthy populations.

If you share our commitment, we hope you'll come to the Toronto Zoo soon and lend your support. Thank you in advance. Our gratitude also extends to City of Toronto funding, government and private grants, and the Toronto Zoo Foundation. Avid conservationists might enjoy reading about particular topics before visiting us. Click on the various links for a selection of in-depth reading material.
